74th Independence Day

 Namaskar,

Today we woke up as usual and I got ready for celebration by our school Everest Kenbridge Senior Secondary School at 8:30 AM.

I switched on the mobile, which was charged upto 60 %. I opened whatsapp group and clicked on the link given for the function. I could see almost 200 participants already present. Last year, the function was held at school and the strength was only 60 students plus teaching and non-teaching staff. I was pleasantly surprised. 

At the appointed time, the Tricolour was hoisted by Mr Komal Anbarasan at the school grounds. The National anthem was played and was followed by Flag song 'Jhanda uncha rahe hamara' after this our chairman Mr. A Tamil Selvan gave the welcome speech. 

Pattimandram was conducted by our 11th standard student mstr. Lokesh who also happens to be school first in class X board exam this year. The topic was 'Online Classes: boon or bane'. The students spoke very well, without any fear. We all enjoyed it.

Pattimandram was followed by our CEO'S speech. The independence day speeches by students were presented and then there was a dance program by two students. Then fancy dress program was held depicting freedom fighters. This was followed by address of our academic director. 

The entire program was compered by Ms. Keerthana Rajam of class 8. 

Thus, the function came to an end. It took 2:30 hours to get completed. The charge of my phone also got over.
