Five months are over, and we are sitting at home, unable to decide whether to send the children to school or not.
Why should children not go to school?
1) No transport available.
2) Children are very weak.
3) No garranty of safety in school.
4) Online classes are sufficient.
Corona is a group of viruses, even common cold is caused by a type of corona virus, for which there is no vaccine till date. Of course, common cold is not fatal.
Children are better equipped to face corona virus and develop immunity against it, compared to any other age group from 30 up wards.
With all the precautions like, face mask, social distancing, and regular sanitization in place, along with good food habits, the parents need not worry.
Online classes are not sufficient to satisfy the inquisitive minds of children, they are only good for acquiring knowledge. This knowledge is useless if it is not put to use. Moreover, health of children is becoming a very big issue.
Students of the age group above 13, need a lot of physical exercise, to keep themselves healthy and strong. But they are sitting at home, just because policy makers are not sure.
When the whole nation, can clap for the front line warriors, when liquor shops can open, when all other establishments can function with 50% or more staff.
Why deny the right to education at least to students who are above 13 years of age?
